OBAMA ‘SADDENED’ BY DONNA SUMMER’S DEATH, THE DISCO QUEEN LOSES BATTLE WITH CANCER AT AGE 63.

President Barack Obama said Thursday that he and first lady Michelle Obama were “saddened” to hear of the death of “Disco Queen” Donna Summer.
“Her voice was unforgettable, and the music industry has lost a legend far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Donna’s family and her dedicated fans,” the president said in a written statement.
Queen of Disco Donna Summer has passed away at the age of 63. The five-time Grammy award winning singer lost her battle with cancer and was in Florida at the time of her death. Summer is best known for songs like “Last Dance,” “She Works Hard for the Money and “Bad Girls.”
